Installing FEDORA
- Run unetbootin as shown in the pic.
- Browse for iso image file or download directly.
- Restart. Go to the boot options. And select USB Storage.
- Select the second option in the unetbootin window. Or you can use default option also.
- Wait till fedora loads
- At the top left corner go to activities and then click the install to hard disk option.
- Select the language.
- In the next page select basic storage devices.
- Type your computer name.
- Choose your location
- ***
- Be careful. Select the last option. Create custom layout.
- Select the disk that you have kept ready. Delete it by clicking the option of the same name at the right bottom. This step is not in the pic.
- Select the freed space and go to create as shown in the pic.
- In the new window create standard patition.
- Create swap in file type system.
- Then once again select the free space and click create. Enter the disk size as shown in the fig. use ext4 as file type system and in the first option don’t forget to select /. It is damn important.
- You are now ready to go further. Follow the snaps.
- Enjoy fedora J
